In EBMT, with the guidance of Àurea Villar (the Human Resources Coordinator) I assisted the Human Resources Unit and the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Task Force in the following tasks: establishing KPIs and medium-run targets to increase the diversity of the workforce; devising a survey to find out about EBMT’s work environment for gender, sexual and romantic minorities (GSRM), and the degree of accessibility for employees with disabilities; providing implicit bias training courses; improving the onboarding process, and reporting on the time management and planning software.
In Qualifyze, I work hand in hand with the People and Culture Team to support hiring managers in their selection processes and to build a better, more inclusive work environment.
In 2019 I completed University Pompeu Fabra’s 4-year Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, and took part in the AQM (Advance Quantitative Methods) Programme, which became an integral part of my academic training in statistics and data analysis. That same year I participated in the 5-month KIP exchange programme at Keio University (慶應義塾大学) to gain valuable insights into Japanese management and the Asian economy, and I wrote my End of Degree Dissertation, a comparative study of the most recent Japanese and Spanish asset bubbles.
In Keio University, surrounded by a cross-cultural team of students, I discovered my passion for talent management and working with people speaking a variety of languages and coming from different backgrounds. I finally realised that I would love to work in talent acquisition, retention and development, so upon finishing my Bachelor’s Degree in Economics I enrolled in University Pompeu Fabra’s Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Management to deepen my knowledge on human resources management.
From June to September 2021 I did an internship as Human Resources Assistant in EBMT (European Society for Blood and Marrow Transplantation).
Four months later, in January 2022, I started working full time as Recruitment Coordinator in Qualifyze, a global third-party GxP (Good Clinical, Laboratory and Manufacturing Practices) audit solution for the pharmaceutical sector.
